Columbus, Ohio, June 2023Olah, a technology company providing health systems and hospitals a better way to seamlessly archive and access data from legacy systems, announced today that it has been featured in a new KLAS Research Emerging Solutions Spotlight. To create the report, KLAS Research surveyed Olah’s current clients, primarily hospitals. The report highlights that 100% of the company's customers would purchase Olah again, citing the benefits of the platform, which include reduced archiving costs and the ability to consolidate disparate data sources. Customers also noted smooth implementations, strong partnerships and Olah's flexible integration approach as top reasons for high satisfaction.

Speed was identified by customers as a positive part of their experience, with three-fourths of all customers seeing outcomes in under six months — a portion of those reporting immediate results.

Olah was founded by veterans of the healthcare industry who saw first-hand the complexity, disruption, and expense of removing older applications in order to modernize. The Olah EAS™ solution empowers organizations to finally solve their legacy application problem within a reasonable time frame and price range while preserving essential data integrity and accessibility.

“The biggest thing with OLAH Healthcare Technology is their data platform and the way that they go about data migration. They have an approach that isn't restrictive in a lot of ways; their approach is very fresh, flexible, and adaptable. We have somewhat of a data warehouse available at our disposal, and all of the data can be easily queried and mined. The vendor has really done a good job with the design and architecture of the solution.” (VP/Other Executive, February 2023)

All customers surveyed by KLAS reported they have adopted 100% of the functionality of access to archived EMR, which speaks to the value of these functions, their ease of use, and Olah’s commitment to training and support. Other platform functionality adopted includes:

  • Access to archived EMR (acute or ambulatory)
  • Reports from Olah that look and feel like reports from the source system
  • Access to archived revenue applications
  • Access to archived administrative applications
  • EMR SMART on FHIR integration: Enables access to Olah Enterprise Archiving Solution from EMR without logging in to system directly

Customers told KLAS that Olah helped them achieve seamless implementations through strong partnerships. “OLAH Healthcare Technology has been incredibly easy to work with. Sales processes are normally not very enjoyable, but OLAH Healthcare Technology's process was very easy, and the implementation team has been phenomenal. The vendor takes a different approach than a lot of vendors for archiving systems because we are archiving the actual data, not just an image. We can truly build a report that tells the system to pull data and put it in a certain format for a release of records purpose. That is the reason we went with OLAH Healthcare Technology rather than just plopping a PDF into something.” (Director, October 2022)

Olah’s customers also spoke highly of the company's ongoing, expert customer service. The vendor's close collaboration is a key strength, a manager told KLAS.

“The vendor's key strength is their collaboration work. We work very closely with them and them with us. We meet with the vendor frequently to do in-depth project reviews." (Manager, November 2022)

The report details how hospitals are driving substantial value through the platform while also highlighting how Olah and customers can work together to achieve even greater success.

“We are grateful for the feedback our customers contribute,” said Chad Hill, CEO of Olah. “Our goal is to enable hospitals and health systems to solve their legacy application problem simply and with less effort, and we are happy to see our customers are confirming that we are hitting the mark. We remain committed to listening to our customers and building on their feedback to drive even greater value for healthcare organizations.”
